Speaker Bio

Matt Hatch is head of the Americas Fintech and Financial Services Growth Markets division at Ernst & Young. He works across various industries, including technology and financial services, and has experience in audit, advisory, tax, and transaction advisory. He focuses on enabling all aspects of the fintech ecosystem (investors, entrepreneurs, and start-ups), transforming incumbent financial services systems, and facilitating partnerships between traditional financial services companies and fintechs. Mr. Hatch’s purview includes complex advisory and assurance projects, including fintech innovation, payment processing, internal audit co-sourcing and outsourcing, financial audit, governance risk and compliance implementations, infotech risk management, and controls optimization efforts.



Mr. Hatch has spent his entire career at Ernst & Young. He is a certified public accountant and a certified information systems auditor. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and management information systems from California State University, Chico.
