Speaker Bio

Ryan Sullivan is a managing director of strategic markets for Hartford Funds. He is responsible for engaging and educating financial advisors and their clients about current and emerging opportunities in the financial services marketplace.



Previously, Mr. Sullivan was vice president and head of investor education for Envestnet MoneyGuide, a developer of financial-planning software for financial advisors. Before that, he founded a business to coach professionals on public speaking and the improvisational mindset. He is a registered representative of Hartford Funds Distributors and holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses as well as life, health, and variable products licenses. He has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Chartered Life Underwriter®, Chartered Financial Consultant®, Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor®, and Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor® designations and is a fellow of LOMA’s® Life Management Institute. Mr. Sullivan earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bucknell University.
