Speaker Bio

Greg Valliere has followed Washington, D.C., for investors for the past 40 years, specializing in coverage of economic issues, taxes, the Federal Reserve, and, of course, politics. He is currently the chief U.S. policy strategist at AGF, an independent asset management firm with headquarters in Canada.

Mr. Valliere comes to his new role from Horizon Investments, where he served as the chief political strategist. Prior to that, he was the chief policy strategist for Potomac Research Group and Soleil Securities Corporation, held strategic roles at Charles Schwab’s Washington Research Group, and was the research director at The Washington Forum, a group he co-founded in 1974. He began his career at F-D-C Reports, a trade publication monitoring the pharmaceutical industry.

He is a frequent guest on CNN, Fox Business TV, Bloomberg Radio and TV, and CBS Radio News. He is frequently quoted in The Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, and Barron’s.

Mr. Valliere holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from The George Washington University.
