Learn how developing your own story can help clients articulate their own stories and design their financial futures

Session Details
Help clients recognize their past experiences to better understand the present and plan for the right financial future by drawing out their unique stories. Building narratives will also help you develop meaningful relationships by joining your stories with your clients’ stories. During this professional development session, learn how to identify your own narrative and aid clients in doing the same by understanding:

  • Unique life experiences that define you
  • The theory of story and why 80% of planning recommendations aren’t implemented
  • Good financial planning based on CFP® guidance
  • How to use story in practice—including knowing versus doing, going deeper, Wheel of Life exercise, and real-world examples
