Combating Inflationary Fears with Active Commodities

Session Speakers
Session Description

Why Attend
Develop a better understanding of how actively managed commodities are emerging as an attractive alternative to protect against inflationary concerns.

Session Details
While the price for many asset classes remains high, commodity prices are near a 40-year low. Optimistic economic data coupled with global growth, rising investor optimism, and the threat of inflation signal the return of commodity investing. During periods of potentially rising interest rates, innovative and actively managed commodity strategies can strengthen a well-diversified portfolio. During the session, you’ll learn how inflation affects traditional portfolios and the most favorable asset classes in rising interest-rate and inflationary markets. Discussion includes how to evaluate prominent benchmarks used to manage commodity strategies, the benefits and drawbacks of active and passive strategies, and the best ways to allocate commodities in the current market landscape.

This 30-minute session is scheduled to take place on The Exchange showcase stage. After the session, continue the conversation by visiting us at our booth.
