Forecasting the Next Recession

Session Speakers
Session Description

Why Attend

Understand how to gauge the timing of the next recession and learn how to build defensive portfolios to weather the downturn.

Session Details
In the ninth year of a secular bull market, how do you assess when it may end, and do you have a plan for protecting your clients’ portfolios? Guggenheim uses six leading indicators that consistently exhibit cyclical behavior ahead of a recession. Learn what these are, and better understand the timing of the business cycle and how it drives investment performance. In a thought-leadership session, find out what type of assets tend to perform well prior to a recession and how to help investors develop a defensive posture in their portfolios in the final year of an expansion. Guggenheim will also share its recession dashboard and proprietary recession probability model.

This 30-minute session is scheduled to take place on The Exchange showcase stage. After the session, continue the conversation by visiting us in our booth.

Seating for this session is at capacity, however standing room is still available.
