Speaker Bio

Marc Kolp brings more than 20 years of workforce development, leadership, training, and executive coaching experience to his role as owner of the Boomerang Consulting Group. He is also the director of the Center for Leadership and Innovation at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County Training Centers. As an organization development and leadership consultant and practitioner, he offers leadership development, diagnostic assessments, and organizational effectiveness and performance improvement solutions to a range of businesses, government organizations, and not-for-profit firms.



Previously, Mr. Kolp was director of learning and organization development at UMBC, where he oversaw learning and training functions for more than 1500 employees. Before that he held leadership roles at Columbia Association, and he has served on the boards of commercial and non-profit organizations. Mr. Kolp has a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Iowa and a master’s degree in organizational management and organization development from the University of Phoenix.
